In collaboration with Kaestle Boos Associates, Architect of Record

Mitchell Associates and Kaestle Boos Associates have completed a schematic design study for Milton, MA.  The study looked at the Fire Department’s three existing facilities and their capacity to meet the current and future needs of the Department. The buildings are aging, including one that was first constructed in 1888.  Part of the evaluation of the facilities was to determine the feasibility of adding/renovating or construction of all-new facilities on or near the existing sites to service the Town’s fire service needs for the future.  It was determined that the 19th century building could be renovated and the two 20th century buildings will be replaced.
