Chatham
In collaboration with Kaestle Boos Associates, Architect of Record

A construction contract has been awarded for the new 20,600 square foot Chatham, MA fire headquarters. It will be a four-bay fire station built on the site of the existing facility. The new fire station will be in close proximity to the elementary school and planning for the safety of students has required a unique site design. Mitchell Associates and Kaestle Boos Associates (Architect of Record) are partnering on the project, with Mitchell Associates working on programming, schematic design and design development. Phasing considerations including temporary re-location were required while demolition of the existing structure and construction take place.
