MITCHELL ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS is focused exclusively on emergency services and is committed to assisting communities to develop cost-effective, durable, state of the art facilities.  This focus is supported by a depth of experience gained over 12 years in design, construction, evaluation, and renovation with Mitchell-Ross Associates Architects, P.C. (MRA).  Co-founded by Robert Mitchell in 1992, MRA completed projects involving over 100 emergency services facilities throughout the North and Eastern Seaboard, Missouri, Texas and Alaska.

With a base in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States, Mitchell Associates serves clients locally and nationwide through collaborative arrangements with regional partners.  We offer a scope of services ranging from consultant based front-end studies to full project management.

We continue to emphasize knowledge-based, comprehensive and individualized services in the building of emergency facilities, and strong working relationshipswith clients.

We work one-on-one with you to assure that the facility is an accurate reflection of your needs and wishes.  We provide continuity of the

project team so that as the project reaches completion, the ideas expressed at the beginning are incorporated.

During the Bidding Phase, the decisions of who will actually construct the project are made, based on qualifications, experience and cost. Mitchell Associates coordinates the contract preparation, defining how and under what terms each contractor must perform their services.

Our role extends well beyond the design of the project. We actively lead the client though the construction process by communicating with each contractor to provide the necessary information so that the project is built within budget, on schedule, and according to the design documents.  We have been builders and understand the process in a way that can only be learned by building.
